Discipline Comes Before the dream.

As educators, we all encourage our young people to dream big. And the big, huge, Dream is cool, but you don’t get the Dream without Discipline. And if you get lucky and stumble upon te dream without truly working for it, you will lose it all because you don’t have the discipline to keep it.

That’s why school is important. In a good school, you learn discipline. Those who do well in school are the students who conform to discipline.

• The discipline to make it to class on time.

• The discipline to say “yes ma’am”, “no ma’am,” “yes sir”, or “no sir".”

• The discipline to pay attention in class.

• The discipline to take notes, the discipline to the classwork.

• The discipline to do your homework.

• The discipline to study.

The good grades, the good scholarship, the good college, the great career; the great business won’t come, without discipline.
